The Loeffler-Frosch Award 2019 of the Society for Virology (Gesellschaft für Virologie; GfV) was given to
Dr. Steeve Boulant (P 14) at the GfV annual conference, which took place in Düsseldorf from 20 to 23 March 2019.
He was honoured for his innovative research in investigating viral infections in the gut.
The prize is endowed with 5,000 euros.
