We are very delighted to welcome Dr. Houda Hallay as the speaker for our next SFB1129/TRR319 PhD/Postdoc Career Seminar. She works at Agilent Technologies as a Genomic Marketing Program Manager.
Topic: “My Career Journey to Marketing.” Houda has a broad experience with different jobs at different companies. From being an assistant professor at the University of Strasbourg to working for Thermo Fisher Scientific as Technical Support Specialist to her current position at Agilent Technologies. https://www.linkedin.com/in/hallay/details/experience/ We are very pleased to welcome Houda and that she takes the time to share her professional journey from academia to industry with us. Topic: “A reflection on transitioning from academia to industry & working as a Quality Manager in industry” Julita is a DKFZ alumna whose postdoctoral research focused on the impact of hepatitis viruses on human immunology. She also worked as Project Manager Alumni Officer in the DKFZ Career Service. She will share her professional journey from academia to industry and reflect on the challenges she encountered during the job application process and the lessons she learned, which may be helpful for your own job search. Furthermore, Julita will explain what it’s really like to work as a Quality Manager in industry. Everyone is welcome to join. Please note that this seminar will only be held online. |
